Grayware

Application that behave in a manner that is annoying or undersirable is classification in Grayware ( Greyware ). Grayware represent one of the characteristic malware which can cause trouble or damage at computer. This application emerge since 1980 and expanding after internet network developed.

Kinds of Grayware :

• spyware

• adware

• dialers

• joke program

• remote access tools

• other things that can harm performance of computers on the network.

Grayware is not classified as viruses or Trojan horse programs. Although nonviruses grayware can still negatively affect the performance of the computers and causing security risks to your network. Usually grayware do irritating with pop-up windows, logging user key strokes and exposing computer sensitivities to attack. Grayware negativelly activities make uncomfortable condition.

Spyware :

Computers software that installed some component for recording Web surfing habits usually for marketing purpose. This software send more informations to user or the interested parties when the system online. This software installed on our computer without permission.

Adware :

Software that displays advertising banners on Web browsers such as Internet Explorer and Mozilla. This program build unlike effect on a sysyem, such as annoying popup ads and the general degradation in either network connction or system performance.
